I am working with a team of developers who maintain and develop products. The official name for it is "Between Two Lights". I am working as a Gameplay developer and accomplish various tasks by making games more interesting. I am also taking responsibility for the optimization of our game. By writing maintainable code, I increased the game performance by 10%. The project itself is written in C++ and the Unreal framework. The parts of our project that I worked are by myself are expandable, and it is much easier to add new features, debug, and support. I also helped my coworkers with UI and Animation Blueprints, which made the code more readable, and it increased our game performance. My recommendations to include GAS(Gameplay Ability System) allowed us to integrate new Abilities for the Abilities Tree much more easily than before. I was also responsible for discussing new features and possible problems, and time limits for those features in our meetings. I work in touch with game designers and our Animators to make our pipeline for new people more convenient and efficient. Based on that, I was tutoring a new intern (Developers) on The Basics of Git. In our project, we use GitFlow, which was provided by me, and which helped us minimize the risk of crashing a project and integrating new ideas. I was included in various code reviews, and my assumptions increased performance by 15% and made the code structure readable for new devs. By now, we are thinking of using another version control system with git to allow not only developers to work with each other, but also game designers, level designers, and designers with sound designers. I am also making and improving documentation for our project and helping other team members to add to that documentation more information, not only code descriptions and possible usages, but also describing our current pipeline of communication between different members of our product and connections of sub-repos in our game.
